We are looking for an accomplished Head of Sales (Enterprise SaaS Executive) to join our leadership team. In this role, you will lead private sector sales activities globally, taking full ownership of pipeline building and development, go-to-market execution, and team leadership. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and scaling the sales organization for long-term success.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive position offers a unique opportunity to shape the commercial strategy and operational execution of a high-impact, data-driven SaaS company.

While our headquarters are in Vienna, we welcome candidates based anywhere in Europe. The role involves regular travel, but you can work remotely from any European location.

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

• Own and lead the entire private sector business line.
• Define and execute the commercial strategy to drive scalable growth and market expansion.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic clients and partners.

Sales & Business Development

• Lead acquisition of new strategic accounts.
• Develop and refine sales and customer success processes for high-impact SaaS engagements.
• Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and account performance.

Operational Management

• Build a high-performing cross-functional team across sales, customer success, marketing and operations.
• Drive operational excellence with a focus on measurable KPIs and business outcomes.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity.

Board Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Report directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors, providing strategic updates and business forecasts.
• Collaborate with other business unit leaders (e.g., product, tech, public sector) to align on company-wide objectives.

• Proven executive experience in Enterprise SaaS, ideally in a high-growth or scale-up environment.
• Background in consumer Insights and/or management consulting within related sectors is a strong plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Native or fluent English; any other European language is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in managing a P&L and leading cross-functional teams in international environments.
• Strong understanding of B2B subscription models and enterprise sales cycles.
• Hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client workshops and industry conferences.
