Ketryx is excited to add a Product Manager to our growing product team in the Vienna office. This position will be responsible for aligning change requests with product releases while prioritizing the needs based on internal and customer feedback. If you have an eager personality, a passion for technology, and a proven track record in validation, this may be the right position for you!
Our ideal candidates will be capable of providing results in a fast-paced and demanding atmosphere. Someone who has excellent organizational skills, eager to work in a fast-growing startup, and a degree in engineering will do well in this position. In this role, you will be allowed the opportunity to implement your target-driven work ethic and support Ketryx's mission to impact 100 million patient lives by 2030.
Ideally you will be currently located in Vienna or able to relocate quickly. Unfortunately, we are unable to support non-EU citizens for the position at this time.
What You’ll Do
- Collect input from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to compile product requirements, and prioritize them based on impact and feasibility.
- Work closely with the sales team, client operations team, and other internal stakeholders to develop and describe new and existing product features.
- Manage product features from conception through launch, ensuring efficient development processes and meeting quality standards; this means, work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and external-facing stakeholders to shape product requirements
- Manage and prioritize change requests to align with product release schedules, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
- Prepare & support releases
- Prepare release notes
- Support developers with documentations of the features they are working on
- Support developers in creating design controls
- Work with marketing, sales, and client operations teams to prepare launch plans
- Break down high-level feature goals into smaller chunks that can be estimated by the developers and can be planned into releases, aligned with the external timelines
- Closely monitor and maintain product development timeline, raise concerns (regarding feature completion and timeline) in a timely manner to manage external expectations
- Establish metrics to measure product success and regularly analyze them to make data-driven decisions.
- Travel as required (2-4 times per year)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of industry experience (SaaS software), at least 3 years of product management experience.
- Understanding of software engineering.
- Previous background in computer science and/or engineering.
- Strong ability to shape software product features, including, but not limited to, defining user stories, creating wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to grasp extremely complex technical concepts quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong organizational skills and habits.
- A proactive mindset, eager, adaptive, and open to learn and grow in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Ideal Skills
- Previous experience in a startup environment strongly preferred.
- Background in a regulated industry.
- Previous experience in Quality Management.
- Experience with Jira / Atlassian toolchain.
